Communications - hybrid based at ND State Hospital in Jamestown, ND - Communications Specialist Tell the story of the ND State Hospital (NDSH) and the important work it performs to solve our state's behavioral health crisis. As a Communications Specialist embedded with NDSH, you'll partner with agency-wide Communications team members and leaders to create internal and external messages about the facility, its people and its impact. This is a new position, based at the ND State Hospital in Jamestown, North Dakota. It is full-time, Monday through Friday. Also, it is a hybrid position with the expectation of being onsite approximately three (3) days per week. Daily, you'll listen, diagnose needs, and offer solutions. You'll coordinate, create, solicit, edit and submit content for communication campaigns. You'll build strong relationships with the media and the Jamestown community. And you'll provide support for crisis communication, organizational culture building and workforce development activities. Most importantly, you'll drive communications projects across the finish line.To be successful in this position, you must have storytelling capabilities across multiple channels, media and community relations experience, and a marketing mindset. You've created content for internal newsletters, social and legacy media. You know how to use storytelling to connect the dots to influence positive change.
