BISMARCK, N.D. – Construction is scheduled to begin Monday, April 22, on U.S. Highway 52 from east of Balfour to Fessenden.

The Vision Zero Priority Emphasis Area Team for Occupant Protection (seat belts) was recently recognized during the Lifesaver Conference in Denver, Colo. for their work to pass North Dakota’s Primary Seat Belt Law.

The number of Drug Recognition Experts (DREs) in North Dakota has increased by 16 to a total of 63 officers in 23 different agencies as 420 approaches.  

BISMARCK, N.D. – Starting Monday, April 15, lane closures will be in effect on the Grant Marsh Bridge as repairs and improvements are underway. Traffic will be reduced to a single lane in either direction until the project is completed by late-October. The on-ramp for Eastbound Interstate 94 traffic from Bismarck Expressway will be closed starting April 15 until the project is completed. A detour to Mandan Avenue at Exit 153 will be in place.

Law enforcement across the state will have extra patrols to enforce the state’s distracted driving law during the month of April as a part of the national distracted driving enforcement campaign Put the Phone Away or Pay.
