The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is now accepting applications for the Flexible Transportation Fund (Flex Fund) program.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is seeking comments on an amendment to the 2023-2026 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for inclusion of two previously unpublished projects in 2024.

All hay bales on North Dakota highway rights of way, must be removed by Wednesday, Nov. 1. Hay bales remaining on rights of way after this date will be removed as directed by the North Dakota Department of Transportation district engineers. The bales need to be removed for snow management and safety reasons.

Construction is scheduled to begin Thursday, Oct. 5, at the westbound Interstate 94 Interchange near South Heart.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation is beginning construction work on Interstate 94 to prepare for a Grant Marsh Bridge (Missouri River bridge) 2024 project.

Traffic will be moved to the passing (left) lanes in either direction on Interstate 94 over the Hay Creek Bridge in Bismarck starting Wednesday, Sept. 13.

Traffic on South Ninth Street will return to the two east lanes starting Monday, Sept. 11. The two west lanes will once again be closed for work.

The left (inside) lane will be closed on East Bismarck Expressway from Main Avenue to Miriam Drive starting Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 5 a.m. Traffic will be moved to the outside lane. 

Lane closures on State Street will be changing daily starting Wednesday night, Sept. 6. Motorists are advised to watch for flaggers and be prepared for traffic changes over the next two weeks.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is extending the application due date for the Township Assistance Program to Oct. 6.
