BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) will host a public information meeting Monday, June 3, from 5-7 p.m. to discuss proposed improvements for North Dakota Highway 32 through Walhalla to the Canadian border.

The meeting will be held at the Walhalla Public School at 605 10th St. in Walhalla. There will be an open house format with a formal presentation at 5:30 p.m. 

The project includes three-inch mill and overlay north of Walhalla, a five-inch mill and three-inch overlay within Walhalla, eight pipe replacements at four locations, shared-use path overlay, and potential sidewalk, and a pedestrian railroad crossing.

Representatives from the NDDOT will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.

If unable to attend the meeting, written comments must be postmarked or emailed by June 18 with “Public Information Meeting - PCN 23896 in the letter heading or e-mail subject. Send all comments to Derek Pfeifer, ddpfeifer@nd.gov

The NDDOT will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide an accessible meeting facility or other accommodation for people with disabilities. Language interpretation and translation services will be available upon request for this meeting.
