BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) will host a public input meeting Thursday, April 18, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. to discuss proposed improvements to U.S. Highway 52 from Seventh Street Southeast to Fourth Avenue Southwest in Jamestown.
The meeting will be held in the lower-level conference room in Jamestown City Hall, 102 3rd Ave. SE. There will be an open house format with a formal presentation at 5:45 p.m.
The project includes full roadway reconstruction of U.S. 52 from Fourth Avenue Southwest to the intersection of First Avenue South and 10th Street Southeast, replacement of U.S. 52 structures over the James River, replacement of storm sewer and lighting, and roadway re-striping on U.S. 52/First Avenue South from Seventh Street Southeast to tie Jamestown's downtown area three-lane cross section into the project.
Representatives from the NDDOT, City of Jamestown, and SRF Consulting Group, Inc. will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.
A pre-recorded presentation and other materials will be available on the NDDOT website at www.dot.nd.gov/public-input on April 18.
