Valley City motor vehicle office to temporarily close

BISMARCK, N.D. – The Valley City Motor Vehicle branch office will close temporarily from Feb. 14 through March 25 due to a changeover in staff. 

Customers are encouraged to use online services or to schedule an appointment at a different branch to conduct business.

Motor Vehicle business available online:

• Renew an existing vehicle registration 
• Order a duplicate registration card (with or without decals)
• Purchase a non-resident temporary Motor Vehicle registration
• Purchase a drive out permit
• Purchase a truck or trailer demo permit
• Change a permanent address (this will not change your Driver License address)
• Add, change or renew an email address
• Renew an existing mobility-impaired placard
• Browse special request license plate options
• Calculate vehicle registration fees
• Check the status of a vehicle title
• Purchase a North Dakota resident 30-day temporary registration
