FARGO, N.D. – Some lanes of Interstate 29 in Fargo will be closed between 32nd Avenue South and 19th Avenue North for the installation of pavement markings. Work will begin Tuesday, July 30.
Both northbound and southbound lanes will be involved, but crews will only work on one direction at a time. They will, at times, have a double lane closure set up to be working in the middle lanes.
Crews will try to minimize the impacts to traffic with the time of day that the double lane closure is up.
Motorists should expect reduced speeds in the work zone. We are asking drivers to be patient if they don’t see crews working in their immediate area.
This work is expected to take most of the week.
