BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) will host a public input meeting Thursday, April 25, from 4 to 6 p.m. to discuss proposed improvements along North Dakota Highway 5 in Pembina County.

The meeting will be held at the Pembina County Courthouse - Farmers Room, 301 Dakota St. W., in Cavalier. There will be an open house format with no formal presentation.

The project includes structure repairs at three bridges, structure replacement at six box culverts, and guardrail updates in Pembina County.

Representatives from the NDDOT and KLJ Engineering will be on hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.

A pre-recorded presentation and other materials will be available on the NDDOT website at www.dot.nd.gov/public-input.

If unable to attend the meeting, written comments must be postmarked or emailed by May 10, 2024, with “Public Input Meeting” in the letter heading or e-mail subject. Send all comments to Adam McGill, PE, KLJ Engineering, 864 West 12th St., Grafton, ND 58237-2120 or adam.mcgill@kljeng.com.
