I-94 westbound Exit 290 to temporary close due to construction

BISMARCK, N.D. – Construction scheduled to temporarily close Interstate 94 westbound Exit 290 in Valley City beginning Tuesday, September 9. 

The drainage improvement project consists of installing a box culvert and paving. 

A signed detour will be in place to guide traffic via Exit 288. The project is expected to be complete later this fall. 

The North Dakota Department of Transportation would like to remind motorists to slow down and use caution throughout the work zone.
