ABOUT THE 2025 NORTH DAKOTA TRANSPORTATION CONFERENCE
The 2025 Transportation Conference is the premiere transportation event in North Dakota and is being held in Bismarck on March 4 and 5, 2025. This conference attracts nearly 1,000 participants from local, state, federal, tribal, and university partners to contractors, consultants, and transportation association members.
We are seeking engaging presentations that explore diverse topics in transportation, showcasing modern concepts and creative solutions.
This year’s conference is about creating solutions through creativity, bold innovation, and collaborative partnerships in transportation. The conference will focus on advancements in transportation including creative design practices, research, collaborative approaches with various agencies, and environmental considerations. The conference will also showcase concepts in workforce, contracting, leadership, and safety.
Conference attendees are particularly interested in resources and learning opportunities that contain one or more of the following elements (though we will accept proposals on any topic relevant to the group):
- Construction innovations from start to finish
- Environmental considerations in planning, permitting, NEPA, ESA, or wetlands
- Agency and Community partnerships
- Community Planning
- Public involvement/engagement
- Contracting
- Safety
- Project planning
- Project design
- Logistics
- Ready Workforce
- Research
- Materials
- Geotechnical
- Surveying
PROPOSAL GUIDELINES
The Transportation Conference Committee welcomes all transportation related proposals. Interested groups may include independent practitioners, local, state and tribal agencies, consulting and contracting firms, as well as experts in related business or transportation fields.
Breakout session and/or keynote sessions will include a 50-minute presentation including a Q&A.
Successful speakers:
- Avoid sales pitches for their product(s) or service(s).
- Can effectively convey solutions to issues and advancements in transportation.
- Provide important takeaways and resources.
- Are passionate thought leaders in their areas of expertise with the ability to inspire audiences.
