Essential functions of this position is to help ensure all children who need child welfare services have a safe and secure environment. Mountrail McKenzie Human Service Zone is seeking a Child Protection worker for the Child protection Service Unit.As a Child Protection worker, you will be assigned reports of child abuse/neglect for assessment. You will also be responsible to adhere with policy, best practice and planning and arranging emergency interventions, provide general program administration. This position will gather necessary facts and complete written documentation. Minimum Qualifications

This position will gather necessary facts and complete written documentation as well as connecting families to critical and supportive services.This position maintains responsibilities of a highly complex and sensitive nature and requires a high degree of knowledge, skills and passion in child welfare.
