The region near Minot has been growing rapidly. Industrial, commercial, and residential development have increased truck and commuter traffic along arterial roadways. Through analysis of the transportation system, we understand there are safety and efficiency concerns south of Minot. The study team, consisting of County, NDDOT, City, and a consultant team, has developed and evaluated a series of alignment alternatives aimed at connecting US2/52 and US 83 South of Minot.
