NDDOT seeks comments on 2020 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) Amendment

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is seeking comments on amendments to the 2020-2023 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for inclusion of two previously unpublished projects in 2020 and changes to a previously published project in 2020.

  1. Slide repair on the Valley City I-94 East Business Loop, RP 932.15.
    Total Cost: $600,000

  2. Centerline pipe backfill repairs Near Munich on ND 20, RP 139.1 to RP 148.9.
    Total Cost: $250,000

  3. Various Locations Devils Lake Citywide. Location has changed from 8 Locations Citywide to Various Locations Citywide. Work Type has changed from Chip Seal Coat and Pavement Marking to Mill and Overlay, Chip Seal Coat, and Pavement Marking. Total cost has increased from $402,000 to $635,000.

The public is invited to view the current STIP on the NDDOT’s website at by clicking on “Publications” on the top of the page, then clicking on the “2020-2023 Final STIP (Statewide Transportation Improvement Program)” link under the Plans and Reports section.
