Technical Certification Program - (TCP)

This program includes certifications for sampling and testing aggregate, asphalt, concrete, and soils. In addition it includes certifications required for Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA) Asphalt Paving.

Prerequisites and Supplemental Training

Certification classes require a basic mathematical calculations and formulas proficiency. Students need to understand how to use a calculator and be familiar with functions, including percentages, fractions, decimals, and basic algebra. Free math refresher courses as well as other helpful courses are available online through the UGPTI Learning Management System . A current list of courses can be found at this link
