Public Input Meeting to be held on August 30, 2017, to discuss
Proposed Improvements to US Highway 281 in New Rockford
A Public Input Meeting will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at the Brown Memorial Auditorium located on the southeast corner of Central Avenue and 7th Street In New Rockford, ND. The Public Input Meeting will utilize an open house format with a formal presentation at 7:00 p.m.
The purpose of the Public Input Meeting is to discuss proposed improvements to US Highway 281 through New Rockford, ND. The project consists of full-depth pavement reclamation and asphalt mill and overlay. The frontage roads and adjacent ditches along US Highway 281 in New Rockford will be reconstructed to current standards to include a new storm sewer system, and turn lanes at 17th Street SW may be constructed. The meeting will provide opportunity for public input. Representatives from the NDDOT, the City of New Rockford, and the consultant team will be on hand to answer your questions and discuss your concerns.
