The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is seeking comments on amendments to the 2020-2023 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for addition of federal funding to a previously published program in 2020 and a previously unpublished project.
- The total estimated cost for the 2020 individual preliminary engineering for various statewide locations has increased from $2,000,000 to $12,000,000.
- Preliminary engineering for four-laning of US 85 from Theodore Roosevelt National Park entrance to County Road 30 (23rd St NW), RP 127.21 to RP 139.44. Total Cost for preliminary engineering: $3,800,000.
The public is invited to view the current STIP on the NDDOT’s website at www.dot.nd.gov by clicking on “Publications” on the top of the page, then clicking on the “2020-2023 Final STIP (Statewide Transportation Improvement Program)” link under the Plans and Reports section.
