The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) and the City of Grand Forks will begin conducting inspection of the railroad bridge over Washington Street in Grand Forks beginning at 8:30 am on Wednesday, July 10th. Washington Street from Demers Avenue to 2nd Avenue North will be reduced to 1 lane for both the north and south bound traffic from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm daily. The inspections are expected to be completed by the end of day, Thursday, July 11th.
During this time speeds will be reduced, and delays can be expected.
The NDDOT would like to remind motorists to slow down, follow traffic control signage and use caution throughout the work zone.
