Construction is expected to begin Wednesday, April 10, on I-94 east of Hebron. The thirteen mile project starts five miles east of Hebron and ends four miles west of Richardton. The project will consist of reconstructing the westbound lanes to provide a new concrete roadway surface. Additional work consists of bridge deck repairs at the Hebron and Antelope Interchanges, guardrail work, signing, and paving on the shoulders and ramps. The Antelope Interchange will be closed to westbound traffic during much of the project.
- Lane closures will occur in April in the eastbound lanes of I-94 during the project
- Traffic will be switched to head-to-head two-way traffic in the eastbound lanes
- Westbound Antelope Interchange ramps will be closed with a detour provided during much of the project
Reduced speeds will be present throughout the project The work is expected to be complete this fall.
