Public Input Meetings to be held on October 4, 2018, to discuss Proposed Improvements to US 2

Two Public Input Meetings will be held at the same date and time: October 4, 2018, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm CDT at the Stanley City Hall AND at the Berthold City Hall.  The meetings will utilize an open house format.

The purpose of the Public Input Meetings is to discuss proposed improvements for US 2 westbound from Mountrail County Line east to 3 miles west of US 52 and eastbound from 3 miles west of Berthold to Junction ND 28.  Destination lighting in Berthold and possible approach removal locations within the limits of Stanley and Ross will also be discussed. The meetings will provide opportunity for the public to ask questions and voice concerns.  NDDOT representatives will be present to answer questions.

The same information will be provided at both meetings.

If unable to attend the Public Input Meetings, written statements or comments must be mailed by October 19, 2018 to James Rath, Program Manager, Design Division, 608 East Boulevard Avenue, Bismarck, ND 58505 or email with “Public Input Meeting” in the e-mail subject heading.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide:

  • an accessible meeting facility or other accommodation for people with disabilities,
  • language interpretation for people with limited English proficiency (LEP), and

  • translations of written material necessary to access NDDOT programs and information.
