Construction begins on I-94 overpass at Exit 27 into Medora

Construction will begin on Tuesday, September 4 on the overpass bridge over I-94 at Exit 27 into Medora. During construction, Exit 27 will be CLOSED for westbound traffic heading into Medora. Westbound motorists will need to use Exit 24. Eastbound motorists can still utilize the Exit 27 on ramp. Construction consists of a deck overlay, guardrail and signing.

Construction is in progress on I-94 bridges over the Little Missouri river at RP 24. There will continue to be a 12 ft width restriction in place, eastbound and westbound. Wide loads will need to find an alternate route.

The project is expected to be complete in late October.

The NDDOT would like to remind motorists to slow down and use caution throughout the work zone. For more information about construction projects and road conditions throughout North Dakota, call 511 from any type of phone or visit the Travel Information Map on the NDDOT website at
