Public Open House August 2 in Devils Lake to provide an update on the Safety and Access Management Plan for North Dakota

A Public Open House will be held from 1:00pm to 3:00pm on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Devils Lake City Office Building, (423 6th St NE, City Commission Room; Devils Lake, ND 58301).

The purpose of the Public Open House is to provide an update on the Highway 2 Safety and Access Management Plan (Elk Drive to Mini H. Rest Area) for North Dakota. The plan will review the existing conditions in this corridor and suggest some feasible alternative for access and safety along this nearly 8 mile section of highway. The Open House will provide opportunity for the public to receive an update on this project and share their perspective on its future. Representatives from the North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) will be on-hand to answer questions and discuss concerns.

If unable to attend the Open House, written statements or comments can be sent to Steve Mullen, Project Manager at smullen@nd.gov.

Additional project information can be found on the project website at www.dot.nd.gov/projects/devilslake/us2sap/.
