NDDOT seeks comments on 2018 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) Amendment

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) is seeking comments on an amendment to the 2018-2021 State Transportation Improvement Program (STIP) for changes in the cost and scope of a previously-published project in 2018.


  1. The Devils Lake Downtown project has expanded to include additional roadways.  Concrete pavement repair, sidewalk and ADA improvements, traffic signal work, landscaping, and signing has been added to the project.  The additional roadways and changes to the work has increased the total cost approximately $4.3 million.

    The public is invited to view the current STIP on the NDDOT’s website at by clicking on “Publications” on the top of the page, then clicking on the “2018-2021 Final STIP (Statewide Transportation Improvement Program)” link under the Plans and Reports section.


Comments should be sent no later than April 13, 2018 to Chad M. Orn at NDDOT,

608 E Boulevard Ave, Bismarck, ND 58505-0700, or sent via email  with

“2018 State Federal-Aid Roadway Projects” in the subject line.
