Public Input Meeting on Tuesday, April 4, to discuss proposed improvements to ND Highway 3 from ND Highway 19 to Rugby

A Public Input Meeting will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at the Rugby Eagles Club located at 2809 Highway 2 West in Rugby. The meeting will utilize an open house format. There will be no formal presentation for this meeting.

The purpose of the Public Input Meeting is to discuss proposed improvements to ND Highway 3 beginning at ND Highway 19 and ending at the south limits of Rugby. The project consists of 2 feet of roadway widening on each side of the existing roadway and constructing a 3 inch asphalt overlay. The meeting will provide opportunity for public input.  Representatives from the NDDOT will be on hand to answer questions and discuss your concerns.

If unable to attend the Public Input Meeting, written statements or comments must be mailed by Thursday, April 20, 2017, to James Rath, ND Department of Transportation, 608 East Boulevard Avenue, Bismarck, ND, 58505-0700 or with “Public Input Meeting” in the e-mail subject heading.

The North Dakota Department of Transportation (NDDOT) will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide:

  •  an accessible meeting facility or other accommodation for people with disabilities,
  • language interpretation for people with limited English proficiency (LEP), and

  • translations of written material necessary to access NDDOT programs and information.
