Annually, the North Dakota Department of Transportation receives federal funding to provide technical assistance to companies owned and controlled by minorities, women, and socially and economically disadvantaged individuals with capabilities in the transportation industry. This technical assistance is in the area of DBE certification, bidding, bonding, bookkepping, loans, contract procurement, etc.
